Lootbox is owned and operated by LOOTBOX LTD (HE 466358), registered at 25 Voukourestiou Street, Neptune House, 1st Floor, Suite 11, Limassol, 3045, Cyprus ("Lootbox", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service form a legal contract between you and us governing your use of Lootbox.com and all associated content, materials, and services. Lootbox.com operates as a free-to-play platform: after completing KYC verification, users can claim a daily complimentary mystery box using free "rain" credits, with identical odds and fairness to depositing users. We may disqualify users who abuse, farm, or otherwise exploit this system, including through multiple accounts or automated scripts. An optional deposit feature also lets users purchase in-store credits to buy boxes and experience points ("XP"), which contain randomly determined rewards including XP or physical products eligible for redemption or exchange.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Lootbox.com, you certify that you are 18 or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms, and are using the Services voluntarily for your own enjoyment. You agree to provide accurate information and are solely responsible for any taxes arising from your use of the Services. We may change these Terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting and reflected in the "Last Updated" date; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance, and you are responsible for reviewing this page regularly.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and legally capable of entering into these Terms. Lootbox may deny access, or void any winnings or credits, if it determines that you do not meet these requirements.
Account Registration
Each user may register only one account; operating multiple accounts may result in termination of any or all accounts and forfeiture of associated XP or Products, at our sole discretion. A valid payment method is required for paid features. We may request proof of age or identity at any time, and may restrict access, withhold balances, or refuse redemptions and exchanges until satisfactory documentation is provided. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date, and for not sharing your login credentials with any third party — we are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized account access. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@lootbox.com. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, in our sole discretion; outstanding balances remain due, and, except where termination is for cause or a change in law, we will provide at least 30 days' notice or a method to transfer your credit balance before any remaining credits, unredeemed Products, or XP are forfeited. Users who delete a primary account must confirm its deletion before registering or using another account; providing false information during this process is prohibited.
Use of the Service
Access to Lootbox.com is limited to what we provide from time to time; you are responsible for your own internet access, hardware, and software. Free areas of the Site are covered by a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable licence for private, non-commercial use on a single device; paid features are covered by a similar licence limited to your purchase. You may not copy, redistribute, or allow unauthorized access to any Materials. Content you submit (including chatroom posts) remains yours, but you grant Lootbox a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display it for our business purposes, and grant other users a licence to access and use it through the Site as permitted by these Terms. We do not guarantee confidentiality for submitted Content and are not obligated to monitor it, though we may remove Content or restrict access at our discretion.
Boxes, XP & Exchanges
Purchasing a Box debits your Credits immediately; the reveal animation is for display only and results are determined by our verifiable, provably fair algorithm rather than the animation itself. Box and Product images are illustrative and may vary slightly from the actual item received. Daily Boxes are available based on your level, must be opened in a timely manner, and unopened Daily Boxes confer no ongoing rights. XP lets you level up for access to better Daily Boxes; it can be purchased or won, has no transferability between users, and its fair market value is set by Lootbox. Before redemption, you may exchange Box contents for other Products of equal or lesser value, for Credits, or — where you have linked a wallet — for cryptocurrency at the value of the Products less any exchange fees. Cryptocurrency payments and withdrawals are irreversible and subject to volatility risk that Lootbox does not guarantee or control; related refunds, if any, are at our sole discretion.
Product Redemption & Delivery
Physical redemption of Products requires accurate delivery information; incomplete or inaccurate information may result in order cancellation, refund, or additional charges, and we are not liable for resulting delays. You are responsible for delivery and import/customs fees, which are disclosed prior to redemption; typical delivery takes between 3 and 30 days, subject to delay from events outside our control, in which case we will notify you and you may cancel for a refund of unreceived Products if the delay is substantial. Some luxury Products are collection-only, as noted in their description. If delivery cannot be completed because you are unavailable, we may offer redelivery or collection instructions, and may issue a refund if you fail to act. Lost, damaged, or faulty Products must be reported to support@lootbox.com — lost-item claims may require proof of non-shipment, and damaged/faulty claims may require you to return the item (at our expense) before a refund or replacement is issued. We may refuse redemption where a Product is out of stock or mispriced, offering in-store credit instead where applicable; any resulting refund for Products is net of return delivery costs (at the cheapest available shipping rate) and, at our discretion, may be paid as cash, Credits, cryptocurrency, or replacement Product(s). Refunds for unused, directly purchased Credits may be granted at our discretion; Credits obtained through exchanges or returns are not refundable.
Billing & Payments
Credits may be deposited using valid payment information and used to purchase Boxes, XP, exchanges, and upgrades at prices displayed at the time of purchase; prices, values, and fees may change daily, and prior pricing is not honoured once updated. You are responsible for all charges associated with your account, and agree that your statement may show our name, a brand name, or a third-party billing agent's name. We use third-party payment processors, whose additional terms you are responsible for following. Deposits made via ZEN are credited as Credits usable only within Lootbox and cannot be withdrawn as cryptocurrency. As a standard policy, all purchases — including Boxes and XP — are final and non-refundable, and revealed XP cannot be returned or exchanged, though we may consider refund requests at our sole discretion. Chargebacks may result in account termination. Billing errors must be reported to our billing agent within 30 days of appearing on your statement, or they are deemed accepted. We may change our fees or billing methods at any time, with or without prior notice.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Services for any purpose other than as we offer them, including in violation of applicable law (such as gambling, intellectual property, obscenity, or privacy laws), or in a manner that breaches a court order. You may not post harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable Content; engage in disruptive behaviour such as spamming or harassment; impersonate others or misuse another's account; cheat, hack, exploit, or otherwise manipulate platform features; interfere with our security or anti-copying measures, including via malware; reverse-engineer or scrape the Site; create derivative works from the Services without permission; commercially exploit or frame/mirror the Site; or place excessive load on our infrastructure. Violations may result in forfeiture of unredeemed balances or Products, refusal to process orders, restriction of features, account suspension or termination, and pursuit of legal remedies.
Affiliate Program
Eligible users may join the Affiliate Program to earn commissions on deposits made through their unique referral code, under Rates posted on the Affiliate Dashboard; this licence to use the code is revocable at will. Affiliates are solely responsible for their affiliate website and any referral content, must not post referral codes directly on third-party platforms they don't own, may not use paid advertising that bids on or misuses Lootbox trademarks, and must comply with FTC and other applicable advertising rules. Prohibited affiliate conduct includes deceptive promotion, unauthorized advertising channels, encouraging account theft, search manipulation, marketing Lootbox as gambling, and other violations of these Terms; violations may result in termination from the program and forfeiture of commissions, whether earned or unearned. Affiliates may not simultaneously promote competing mystery-box or PvP chance-game platforms, and must keep affiliate data confidential. Commission rates and terms may change at our discretion and apply prospectively; tax information may be required to process payouts. Liability related to the Program is capped at $100 for either party, excluding indirect or consequential damages.
Intellectual Property
Lootbox's trademarks, logos, and brand elements may not be used publicly without our written consent. Except for user-submitted Content, all Materials on the Site are our proprietary intellectual property, protected by copyright, and may not be copied, distributed, or modified without our consent; you may not remove ownership notices from Materials. We comply with the DMCA, will remove infringing content upon proper notice, and enforce a repeat-infringer termination policy, details of which are available on request.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided "as is" and "with all faults," without warranties of any kind regarding merchantability, fitness for purpose, accuracy, security, or uninterrupted access, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for third-party links, user-generated Content, or violations of law by users, though we may remove Content or restrict access at our discretion. We disclaim liability for a broad range of claims relating to use of the Site, including third-party conduct, unauthorized account access, transmission interruptions, malware from third parties, and platform incompatibility. You agree to indemnify and hold Lootbox harmless from claims arising from your actions, misuse of the Services, or breach of these Terms.
Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, and all disputes must be resolved exclusively in Cyprus courts, with both parties waiving objections to that venue. You waive any right to bring a class action or collective proceeding. We may seek injunctive relief for breaches where monetary remedies would be inadequate. Certain provisions specify liquidated damages that you agree represent a good-faith estimate of actual harm rather than a penalty, and you agree to reimburse reasonable collection or enforcement costs, including legal fees, incurred as a result of your breach.
General Provisions
These Terms, together with our other published policies, form the entire agreement between you and Lootbox and supersede prior agreements on the same subject. Third-party service provider policies apply in addition to ours, with our policies governing any conflict. We may assign or delegate our rights without notice; you may not do so without our written consent. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Rights and remedies under these Terms are cumulative. We are not liable for failures caused by force majeure events, including natural disasters, war, pandemics, infrastructure failures, or unlawful acts of our personnel. Notices may be given by email, Site posting, or courier, and are deemed effective upon delivery or, if refused or undeliverable due to your action, upon the refusal or delivery failure. Communications through the Site are not private and may be reviewed by Lootbox personnel. By using the Site you consent to receive marketing and other communications, including content not suitable for minors, until you opt out. These Terms are published in English, which governs over any translation; any electronic acceptance (such as clicking "I agree") is legally binding. Export-controlled Materials must not be diverted to prohibited destinations. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment, or joint-venture relationship between the parties. Lootbox is unavailable in certain jurisdictions — full or partial access restrictions currently apply to Denmark, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom, and access is prohibited entirely from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, the Central African Republic, Cuba, Cyprus, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Finland, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Myanmar, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, North Korea, Pakistan, Palestine, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe, and Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia. Attempting to circumvent these restrictions, including by misrepresenting your location, breaches these Terms and may result in account suspension or termination.
